The Washboard Union

The Washboard Union is led by Kelowna-grown step-brothers Aaron Grain & Chris Duncombe, with their best friend David Roberts whom share an “innate love for the art of songwriting and storytelling that has resonated with audiences from North America to Europe.” The brothers had picked up their bags and headed to Vancouver where they met Roberts by coincidence. There, the sessions were ‘the bones of what would eventually become ‘The Washboard Union.’ Aaron Grain on the guitar and vocals, Chris Duncombe with his voice and banjo, and David Roberts provided the washboard, among other instruments!
