CKBY TIme Capsule: Week of January 3rd

CKBY is celebrating 50 years of playing the best Country music in Ottawa and the Valley! To help celebrate, we are launching the “CKBY Time Capsule.”

We will pull out different ‘items’ from the capsule over the next year. You will experience and remember memories over the years with us through our socials and on-air!

In 1972, CKBY was born. Below is an original CKBY silver belt buckle that the station used through most of the 70’s–FM Stereo 105 is proudly displayed under the logo.

Did you know? The logo “CKBY” is an upside down cowboy hat by the way of the ‘K’ and the ‘Y.’
