Here’s an easy recipe for Pulled Pork that you can tweak to your liking!  Sometimes I’ll add some smoked tomatoes to alter the flavour a little in place of some of the chili sauce.  Let me know how it turns out for you!

SLOW COOKER PULLED PORK

2 cups thinly sliced onions

3 lb pork loin roast (sometimes I’ll use 2 smaller pork loins)

2 cups chopped peeled apples

3/4 cup chili sauce

1/3 cup grainy mustard

1/3 cup liquid honey

2 Tbsp chili powder

1/3 to 1/2 cup tomato paste

2 Tbsp Worchestershire sauce

1 Tbsp brown sugar

2 tsp paprika

2 cloves garlic, chopped

Place onions on bottom of slow cooker. Place pork on top. Sprinkle apples on top of pork.  In medium bowl mix rest of ingredients and pour over meat & apples.  Cover & cook on low 6-7 hours until meat is falling apart.   Using forks, shred meet and mix into sauce.  Serve on buns!  Serves about 8…unless you’re my husband…then it serves 4. LOL
