Feeling the blues?

Not surprised. It’s BLUE MONDAY. And if you ever wondered how they dwindled down to today being the marker for the saddest day of the year? It’s mathematical:

The factors are: the weather, debt level (specifically, the difference between debt and our ability to pay), the amount of time since Christmas, time since failing our new year’s resolutions, low motivational levels and the feeling of a need to take charge of the situation.

At least tomorrow will be better.

Sad news today out of London, where 90s rocker, Dolores O’Riordan passed away suddenly at the age of 46.

Best known as the Irish front gal of the Cranberries, Dolores’ music penned the soundtrack for the lives of many teens – mine included. Their best known hits include “Zombie”, “Linger”, and “Dreams”.

Mark Wahlberg is making a BIG donation, and with it, a BIG statement. The actor co-stars alongside Michelle Wililams in the upcoming “All The Money In The World”, and, as most movies in Hollywood go, re-shoots were required after the movie wrapped. However, it was revealed that Marky Mark took home a whopping $1.5 million bucks, whereas Michelle was paid a measly $1000 ($80/day) for her work. Yeah. Uncool.

When it came to light, Mark decided to hand over the dough to the Times Up Defense Legal Fund in Michelle’s name. Super rad!
